Forming Fabrics
Weavexx forming fabric technology adds value to paper
quality and machine efficiency, from Huytexx's patented weave design with extraordinary stability, fiber
support, and drainage to the improved smoothness and reduction in sheet marks delivered by our Titan line
of products. Avantexx forming fabrics offer enhanced sheet release, retention, and sheet smoothness, and
is particularly suited for printing and publication grades. Specifically designed for tissue applications,
Vantage products provide high fiber support and high retention with easy release.
Press Felts
Press Felt products from Weavexx improve smoothness and sheet quality and reduce production costs through
advanced press felt technology, like Huyperm press felt, which uses a unique blend of polymers that are
mechanically and thermally bonded during the manufacturing process. Unique Weavexx technology behind Seamexx TX
provides lower caliper, allowing fast start-up and reduced break-in time. AXXial is our latest advancement in press felt
technology for press sections requiring felts with low flow resistance, uniform pressing uniformity, consistent
high void volume and longer life potential. Millennium products optimize pressing uniformity through a specially
woven top cloth that is laminated with a more open bottom cloth to provide remarkable drainage characteristics.
Dryer Fabrics
Weavexx dryer fabrics are engineered to excel on every machine type and paper grade. Blue Maxx dryer designs are specifically engineered for high-speed, lightweight newsprint and high-quality printing and writing grades where high contact and improved heat transfer are critical. Exxtreme 2 and Exxtreme 5 products are ideal for positions requiring resistance to hydrolysis. SoilMaster designs are constructed with 100% black monofilament combined with fluoridated hydrocarbon yarns providing a structure that resists buildup, making them ideal for situations where chronic fabric contamination is common.
Formation Technology
Weavexx pioneered the Fab-Foil™ system decades ago and continues to lead the advancement in table equipment design, engineering, and application. The new and revolutionary VARIZONE™ technology from Weavexx allows papermakers to tune the formation zone without shutting down the machine or changing foil blades. It optimizes drainage and formation regardless of speed and grade, making it ideal for swing machines. The Weavexx Self-lubricating Uhle Box Cover, Quantum foil unit, and Quadvac multi-section high-vacuum unit offer additional ways to increase efficiency and decrease costs in paper production.
