Stowe Woodward History
Stowe Woodward has been in operation in Brazil since 1976. The company was originally a local manufacturing plant named Sigla - located by the border of Tietê river, in the city of. Six years later, the plant facilities moved to Sumaré in São Paulo. At that same time, Mount Hope joined Stowe Woodward at the same site.

In 1982, Stowe Woodward launched Plant II, with the latest generation of equipment destined to produce rolls calenders for the pulp and paper industry.

In 1997, the composite technology for soft rolling machines allowed the rolls to be covered on site, instead of sending them outside of the country.

In 2007, Stowe Woodward launched polyurethane technology with the installation of the most modern machine available, providing the market with a complete line of covers.
