Optimum spreading effects
are achieved, if the lead-in
distance before the Stowe
Woodward roll is long
enough and the lead-out
distance between this roll
and the following roll is as
short as possible.
- Lead-in distance: at least
2 x lead-out distance.
- Lead-out distance: at the
most 2 x diameter of roll
(attention to be paid to
safety aspects).
