Central Lubrication of Internal Ball Bearings
Central Lubrication of Internal Ball Bearings

Lubrication cycles are automatically controlled and monitored

With the central lubrication of the internal ball bearings Stowe Woodward offers a system which has been used in spreader rolls since 1990 for the fastest and widest machines with great success.

The ball bearings are automatically re-lubricated depending on size and speed of the spreader rolls.

This re-lubrication compensates for loss of lubrication after long running periods. Lubrication is virtually kept on the same level during the whole service life of the roll.

Thus, a significantly higher operating safety and clearly longer running period of the spreader roll is achieved.

Lubrication cycles are automatically controlled and monitored.

  • Good operating safety.
  • Extremely long running periods.
  • More than 200 spreader rolls in successful applications since 1990.
  • Minimum amount of maintenance.
  • Automatic indication of disturbance.
  • Service of running rolls possible.
  • Connection of IMC system.
