Plain Non-Working Rolls
Increased line speeds and increased web tensions mean more shell fatigue for non-working rolls. Aging or damaged roll cores may require replacement for safe and efficient operation.
Stowe Woodward provides new roll cores when necessary with very short lead times thus minimizing the time the roll is out of service. All rolls are produced to exact engineering specifications. Internal and external TIR is minimized or eliminated and rolls are stress relieved and balanced prior to covering, providing a complete roll that meets or exceeds OEM specifications.
