Continuous Open Width Bleaching Range
The ability to stand up to the chemical and high-heat environment of textile manufacturing is the first requirement for successful roll covers. Equally important is the need to provide the long service life that delivers the economy necessary to compete in today's global marketplace.

Improved quality, increased efficiency and innovative value are the primary benefits that Stowe Woodward technologies bring to the textile industry.

Eliminating premature roll hardening, compromised performance from chemical attack, premature yarn wear, and cover debonding are examples of roll solutions that increase line efficiency. Engineered roll covers with longer service life enable textile manufacturers to compete amoung increasing global pressures.

Scray Roll
The scray roll feeds the web into the bleach range. The ideal cover has excellent chemical and abrasion resistance.

Desize Saturator
The desize saturator immerses the woven fabric into solution for chemical extraction.

The cover must retain its high coefficient of friction in the presence of high chemical concentrations and elevated temperatures. It must also retain its cover-to-core bond in the presence of chemical concentrations and high temperatures.

Desize Washer
The desize washer roll applies pressure in a nip to extract various chemicals from the web.

The ideal roll cover in this position retains a high coefficient of friction in the presence of high chemical concentrations and high temperatures. It also stands up to the rigors of high chemical concentrations and high heat without losing the critical cover-to-core bond.

Caustic Saturator
The caustic saturator roll immerses the fabric web into the caustic chemical solution.

A high coefficient of friction in the presence of high chemical concentrations and high temperatures is essential for optimal performance. The roll cover must also retain its cover-to-core bond in the presence of high chemical concentrations and high temperatures.

Caustic Washer
The caustic washer roll applies pressure in a nip to extract various chemicals from the web.

Hardening of the roll cover reduces nip width and decreases dwell time. The roll cover must have excellent chemical resistance to caustic chemicals which can cause roll cover hardening and surface cracking.

Peroxide Saturator
The peroxide saturator roll immerses the web into chemical solution.

The roll cover surface must retain a high coefficient of friction in the presence of high chemical concentrations and elevated temperatures. It must also retain its cover-to-core bond in the presence of chemical concentrations and high heat.

Peroxide Washer
The peroxide washer roll applies pressure in a nip to extract chemicals from the web.

The roll cover must resist hardening that reduces nip width and decreases dwell time. It also requires excellent resistance to caustic chemicals which can cause roll cover hardening and surface cracking.

Final Washer Delivery or Exit Nip
The final washer delivery roll applies pressure in a nip to extract chemicals from the web.

Excellent abrasion resistance is required in order to reduce wear and maintain a constant nip width and pressure.
