Mount Hope bowed rolls use the Guardian System to protect against down time caused by bowed roll failure. Strategically mounted accelerometers, thermal sensors and tachometers monitor and record vibrations, temperatures and speed and displays the data for operator use and stores it as a guide for preventative maintenance.
